The
Gastronomy Program has sharpened my research skills, but what I have truly
appreciated is discussing modern food issues with my peers and exploring
the local food environment (read about my food adventures in my blog, Leena
Eats This Blog). My dissertation is exploring how food blogs are impacting
on American print food journalism.
I also contributed to the recently published The Business of Food:
Encyclopedia of the Food and Drink Industries (Westport CT: Greenwood
Press, 2007)."
